Tasting Notes

Nose : Complex nose of savory fruit, olives and French oak spice including some cinnamon and cloves. 

Palate : Blackberry fruit, then the secondary characters appear with roasted meat and toasty oak predominant. There are plenty of layers to this wine and the flavors flow through the palate. It finishes with silky soft tannins and good length of fruit.

Alcohol Content : 14.5%

In 1926, Reinhold Bernhard Jenke purchased this vineyard and John Jenke was born and raised on this property. Through the generations the Jenke  family have tended and nurtured these vines for nearly 100 years. 
This Shiraz is a fantastic example of the style and quality produced from the Jenke Estate Vineyards.
