Color : Deep red

Nose : Lifted notes of lilac, purple fruits, satsuma plums and raspberries.

Palate : Silky mouthfeel, good acidity and balance, luscious fruit red berries, cherries, slight hints of oak.

Food Pairing : Lamb Ragu or Beef carpaccio.

Alcohol Content : 14.2%

Hobbs' newest label, Behr Creek, named for the creek that trickles on past the vineyard. This local creek is named after Dr. H. H. Behr, the first botanist to collect and study the unique flora of the Barossa Ranges during the 1840s.

Hand pick, cold soak, wild ferment, and a 10-day fermentation period.
